We, the members of the DSA-NYC Healthcare working group, are building a mass movement to transform the New York Healthcare System to one that puts workers and patients first. We are building to pass the NY Health Act, the nation's first single-payer system, rebuilding and deprivatizing public hospitals, empowering workers, and putting patients over profits. Healthcare is not a commodity. It is a public good. It is a human right.
